S.R.L. "MANAGED IT SOLUTIONS" ("MIT-DEV", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed through https://mit-dev.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Moldovan Law no. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data.

What data we collect

We collect only the personal data we need to operate this website and respond to enquiries:

  • Contact form data: full name, email address, company name (optional), and the message you send us.
  • Technical access logs: IP address, browser/user-agent, request paths and timestamps, retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
  • Analytics: aggregate, pseudonymous usage data via Google Analytics 4 (with anonymised IP), only after you give consent through our cookie banner.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (health, biometrics, political opinions, etc.) and do not collect data from children under 16.

Why we process your data (legal basis)

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss potential engagements — legal basis: pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b)–(f) GDPR).
  • To keep the website secure and detect abuse — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To measure traffic and improve our content via Google Analytics 4 — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from the cookie banner.
  • To comply with legal obligations (accounting, tax, response to lawful authority requests) — legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep your data

  • Contact form submissions: up to 24 months from the last interaction, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Technical access logs: up to 30 days.
  • Google Analytics 4 user-level data: up to 14 months (GA4 default), aggregate reports retained longer.
  • Records required by law (e.g. invoices for paid engagements): retained for the periods set by Moldovan accounting and tax law.

Who we share your data with (sub-processors)

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the technical providers needed to operate the site, each bound by a data processing agreement:

  • Email delivery: Resend (USA) — for transactional contact-form emails.
  • Analytics: Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC (USA) — only if you consent to analytics cookies.
  • Hosting and storage: Vercel Inc. (USA) and / or our hosting provider in the EU.
  • Public authorities: only when required by a lawful order or to protect our rights.

Some of these providers are located outside the EU/EEA (e.g. United States). Transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary safeguards as required by GDPR Chapter V.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. theme preference, consent state) are always set. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are only loaded after you give consent through our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time using the same banner.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten") subject to legal retention obligations;
  • request restriction or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • request portability of the data you provided to us, in a machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing;
  • lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova (CNPDCP) or your local EU supervisory authority.

Security

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, principle of least privilege, audit logs) to protect your data. No system is fully immune; if a breach affects your rights, we will notify the supervisory authority and, where required, you, in line with Articles 33–34 GDPR.

We may update this policy when our processing activities change. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated on this page.
