Motago.ai is a production-grade SaaS platform with a built-in AI sales representative, built on Claude and custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.

What the platform does

It runs the full lifecycle of a SaaS product: account management, subscription handling, an admin surface for human operators, and an AI agent that handles inbound sales conversations end-to-end. The agent reasons over product knowledge, qualifies prospects, books calls, and hands off to humans when the conversation hits its limits.

How the system is built

Claude provides the language reasoning. Custom MCP servers expose the product's CRM, calendar, billing, and knowledge base to the agent as structured tools. The agent's behavior is shaped by versioned prompts and tool definitions, deployed independently of the application code. The wrapping SaaS uses a modern web stack with a typed backend, server-side rendering, and streaming for the agent's responses.

Why MCP matters here

MCP keeps the agent decoupled from the underlying systems. New integrations are added as tools, not as code changes inside the agent. The same approach scales from a single agent to a fleet of specialized agents sharing the same MCP layer.
