DoctorChat is a telemedicine platform that lets patients book consultations and reach specialists around the clock in multiple languages, all live in production.

The patient flow

A patient enters the platform, describes their situation, and is routed to the right type of specialist — internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, mental health, and so on. They can book a scheduled consultation or join an on-demand session depending on the specialty and urgency. The conversation supports text and, where appropriate, video, with the medical record building up across visits.

The specialist side

Specialists see their queue, patient context, and the tools they need to write notes, prescribe, and refer onward. The platform is designed so a specialist can pick up a session in any of the supported languages without manual handoff — translation happens at the platform layer when it is needed.

What it enables

The 24/7 reach and language coverage matter most for patients who do not have a local specialist available — chronic conditions that need check-ins, second opinions on test results, mental health consultations that do not fit clinic hours. The platform makes those consultations bookable and the specialist time addressable.
